The Faculty Engagement Program and CERRU at Queens College held a special, live debrief on Monday April 27, 2020 at 12:00pm ET with Prof.Tamar Hermann and Dr. Khalil Shikaki.

Dr. Khalil Shikaki is a Professor of Political Science and Director, Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research, Ramallah, Palestine and Senior Fellow at the Crown Center for Middle East Studies, Brandeis University. Tamar S. Hermann is a Professor of Political Science at the Open University, Israel, and Academic Director of the Guttman Center for Surveys at the Israel Democracy Institute.

The two leading researchers analyzed current trends in Israeli and Palestinian public opinion as shown in recent polls, which reflect public opinion regarding Coronavirus and its effects on governments and leadership, public trust, and changes of perception of the other, due to on the ground enhanced cooperation between the sides.

This is the second in a series of webinars that the Faculty Engagement Program is holding that aims to continue the conversation around Israel-Palestine.
