If an organization plans for all types of emergencies then it has gone through a process with its directors, officers, staff and volunteers to be ready and resilient.  It is an on-going process.  It is yet another task for a nonprofit organization, but there are really just some basic variations depending on the emergency. You start with what your organization does for fires and build on that.
