Typhoon Victims Urgently Need Your Help
Super Typhoon Haiyan, ravaged the Philippines and is now pummeling Vietnam and China. It has already caused catastrophic damage. Millions of people are in need of urgent humanitarian assistance. American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC)’s emergency teams are already headed to the region and working with the Filipino Jewish community and their partners to get critical aid to the region as soon as possible. We should feel a particular responsibility to the people of the Philippines, who courageously saved so many lives during the Holocaust. We are just starting to learn the true impact of this terrible disaster. But what’s certain is the faster we can get assistance on the ground, the greater impact we can have on people in dire need right now. One hundred percent of your donation to the UJA-Federation Philippines Typhoon Relief Fund will be sent to the JDC, a beneficiary agency. Together, we will work to alleviate suffering and address victims’ immediate and long-term recovery needs. Click here to donate.
