The Blumberg Fellowship for Jewish Community Relations at JCRC-NY is a premier civic leadership experience for rising Jewish changemakers in New York City. Designed for bold thinkers and emerging leaders, this immersive program empowers participants to engage with the most pressing challenges facing our city—and to help shape a more connected, inclusive New York for all.

Fellows dive into a dynamic mix of thought-provoking conversations, hands-on experiences, and exclusive site visits with civic and community leaders. Along the way, they’ll build powerful networks, sharpen their leadership skills, and gain the tools to be effective advocates, bridge-builders, and community leaders in a rapidly evolving civic landscape.

Application Criteria

Applicants should be Jewish young professionals between the ages of 25-40+ who are committed to learning about and engaging in civic life. Successful applicants will find significant value in Jewish communal life and engage beyond the Jewish community into building relationships with leaders of other diverse communities as well as public officials . They should appreciate navigating complex and nuanced issues and rolling up their sleeves to build a better city.
